I only asked if there was a paper bag. She said she only bought bread, so why did you want to put it in a paper bag? How arrogant...

After that, she just returned the bread, not wanting to buy it anymore. The shop owner's daughter called her husband out, strangled her, pressed her shoulder, and pushed her out, without paying or letting her get the bag of bread back. The couple threatened and cursed at each other. When they got home, they saw their elbows were scratched and bleeding from hitting the iron frame of the door... This is a thug bakery, everyone stay away from it."

The post, which included a photo of the bakery with a clear sign, quickly received thousands of interactions, comments and shares. Many expressed doubts about the authenticity of the information and hoped that the poster could provide clearer evidence.

Van Cong Khanh Trinh account commented: "But hearing from one side, how can we know who is right and who is wrong. We also don't know if it is true or not? If it is true, we should call the police and ask to extract the camera from the house next door to know for sure."

"I'm sorry, but you posted without a picture and used an anonymous account to post, so no matter what you say, I don't believe you," commented Trang Duong below the post.

The owner wants to make a record to clarify.

According to the reporter's investigation, the bread cart mentioned in the above incident is Mely Bread Shop located at 71 Quang Trung Street (Go Vap District). On December 14, we went to the shop to find out the truth about the accusation on social media.

Ms. Nguyet Ngan (27 years old), the owner of the sandwich shop, confirmed that the shop had a scandal involving a female customer who bought bread on the morning of December 10. Providing the reporter with a clip recorded by the shop's security camera that recorded the incident that day, the owner said that the accusations in the post were completely untrue.

The new bakery opened in early October.

According to Ms. Ngan, that morning, did the customer come to her shop to buy 5 loaves of bread? Afterwards, the woman who bought the bread had a "back and forth" with her regarding the fact that this person was upset and wanted the shop to put each loaf of bread in a paper bag, instead of putting them all in one plastic bag.

“This customer lost her temper, said some bad things and kept pushing me away. Then, she stormed into the house. My husband saw that this customer lost her temper, pushed me, and was still standing near the money box. Because he was afraid that she was staging a scene with bad intentions, he approached and pushed her out. My husband only pushed her away, there was absolutely no strangulation or shoulder pressing as posted,” the indignant shop owner recounted.

Ms. Ngan said that after leaving, 1 hour later, the woman returned to the shop with her son to ask for 25,000 VND back for the 5 loaves of bread she had bought. She explained the incident clearly to the customer’s son, then returned the money.

“Everything would have stopped there if it weren’t for this anonymous post. In my opinion, you’re just hearing the story from one side, posting without verifying information from both sides affects the image of your restaurant.

During these difficult economic times, we are happy to have customers come and support us, whether it is a sandwich with filling or without. Those 5 loaves of bread and 5 paper bags are not worth the trust and support of our customers and the brand of the shop,” the shop representative added.

It is known that the bakery was opened by Ms. Ngan and her husband in early October. The shop is open in the morning and evening. After the incident, Ms. Ngan said that the business situation of the shop was affected, she suffered a lot of damage. She hopes that the customer can contact the shop again to clarify the incident together, is ready to confront the buyer as well as coordinate with the authorities to extract camera footage to know the truth.

The shop owner also said that he would make a record of the above post to clarify the right and wrong, which affected his business. According to Thanh Nien 's update this afternoon, December 14, the post denouncing the shop from the anonymous account mentioned above is no longer available.
