Nguyen Manh Duy became the first Vietnamese to conquer the 8,163 m high Manaslu mountain peak.

According to information from Mr. Rajendra Dhakal, Liaison Officer of the Government of Nepal, Mr. Nguyen Manh Duy successfully reached the top of Mount Manaslu on the afternoon of September 22, 2024, at 2:51 p.m. (local time).

Accompanying Nguyen Manh Duy is Mr. Temba Bhote, an experienced mountain climbing guide, known as Himalayan Sherpa.
