At the press conference, designer Phan Dang Hoang said he was honored to present the new LACQUER collection at Milano Fashion Week Spring Summer 2026, Italy around the end of September.

The collection is inspired by the paintings of Nguyen Gia Tri - a pioneer artist who brought traditional lacquer into modern painting.

Inspired by the meticulousness and sophistication in Nguyen Gia Tri's artworks, Phan Dang Hoang wanted to honor the beauty of the artist's hands - the place where art is created.

LACQUER (Lacquer) includes 30 designs created from basic artistic shapes combined with quality and complex construction techniques to tell a fashion story "with stillness and movement, with depth in simplicity".

The designs include many details, layers of fabric processed and treated many times, many stages, reminiscent of lacquer paintings - a type of art that stands out with its sparkling shine and depth inside.
