Experts say these malicious apps will silently run in the background and automatically access advertisements to generate revenue for the criminals. Meanwhile, some other malicious apps direct users to fraudulent websites.

Currently, the 12 malicious applications have been removed from the Google app store. In case users have installed these malicious software, they must quickly remove them from their devices.
