From July 1, Ha Tinh officially launched the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in 69 communes and wards. This is an activity of special importance to collect comprehensive information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and the current state of rural development, serving policy planning and long-term development strategies. Currently, localities have simultaneously deployed and mobilized thousands of investigators in wards and communes across the province to the grassroots with the spirit of urgency and the highest determination.

In Tu My commune (formerly Huong Son district), 38 enumerators quickly got involved, closely following the assigned areas to collect information according to the correct procedures, ensuring completeness and accuracy. “Through the training process, I am clearly aware of my role and responsibility in collecting honest and objective information from the people. I will focus on my expertise and make the greatest effort to complete the assigned tasks in this year's general census” - enumerator Ha Thi Oanh shared.
In many areas with large terrain, scattered population and diverse forms of production, the investigation work requires strict organization and smooth coordination between forces. According to Mr. Le Dinh Phong - Head of Statistical Team No. 4 (Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office), the unit was assigned to be in charge of supporting the investigation in a large area of 14 communes with more than 52,000 households. The difference in this survey is the application of smart devices (CAPI) in the entire data collection process, helping to increase accuracy, save time and minimize errors compared to the traditional form of paper recording. Statistical Team No. 4 proactively coordinated with the commune authorities to guide the enumerators to approach the right and sufficient subjects to collect information.

In Ky Anh commune - one of the areas with a large population, the investigation work was carried out seriously and methodically with the participation of 45 investigators.
Ms. Duong Thi Van Anh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Anh Commune said: "We identify this as an important political task, with practical significance in building a database to serve the development of NTNN in the locality. The commune government has proactively taken action, assigning staff to closely coordinate with the Census force to fully access households. At the same time, propaganda work is carried out regularly so that people clearly understand the purpose and meaning of the census and actively provide truthful and complete information."

Sharing while collecting information, TV reporter Thieu Thi Nguy (Ky Anh commune) said: “We have been thoroughly trained on the content, how to use CAPI software, skills to approach and build trust with people. The biggest difficulty is arranging flexible working hours to ensure meeting the right household representative. Many households work in the fields or go to the sea during the day, so we will have to arrange to work in the late afternoon or evening. Although it is difficult, everyone is determined to complete the task well.”
According to records in many communes and wards in the province, the investigation process is taking place smoothly, with enthusiasm, ensuring safety and compliance with technical procedures. It is known that Ha Tinh will collect information and data from more than 260,000 households with the participation of nearly 2,000 investigators. Especially in remote, isolated and coastal communes - where travel conditions and access to technology are still difficult, the investigation work is being deployed with attention. Local authorities actively coordinate to support vehicles, arrange forces and promote propaganda, mobilizing people to provide complete and accurate information as requested.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 General Census of Agriculture and Rural Development affirmed: "According to records, the investigation work in localities is taking place thoughtfully, enthusiastically and safely. The investigators immediately started working with enthusiasm and high responsibility to complete the assigned political tasks. People promoted the spirit of civic responsibility, community awareness, seriously cooperated, and provided timely and accurate information to the investigators."
With high determination and synchronous participation of the entire political system, Ha Tinh is striving to carry out the 2025 Agricultural Census effectively, safely and on schedule. The data collected this time is not only a scientific basis for national policy making, but also directly serves the construction of advanced new rural areas, the development of modern rural economy, adaptation to climate change and promotion of digital transformation in the province's agricultural sector.
