The water level of the Red River in Hanoi is forecast to peak at noon today, exceeding the second alarm level by about 30cm, reaching 10.8m, causing serious flooding in riverside areas in the afternoon due to the high water level of the rivers. Meanwhile, flooding on the Thai Binh River continues to increase and may peak tomorrow.
In the next 12 to 24 hours, the flood on the Red River in Hanoi will slowly recede and be below alert level 2 in the Long Bien area of Hanoi.
