Kinhtedothi- According to the People's Committee of Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province, from November 15 to December 7, 2024, the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival 2024, with the theme "Intoxicated by Winter" will take place with many activities to attract tourists and local people.
This is an annual activity in the series of events "Bac Ha in four seasons", aiming to create unique and special tourism products of Bac Ha; at the same time, preserve, honor and promote the cultural values of ethnic communities in Bac Ha district in particular and in Lao Cai province in general.
The 2024 Bac Ha White Plateau Festival with the theme "Intoxicated by Winter" will take place from November 15 to December 7, 2024.
As planned, on the evening of November 30, at the Bac Ha town night market stage, the opening program will take place with many special performances.
In addition, within the framework of the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival 2024, many attractive cultural and sports activities will take place such as: Bac Ha Comprehensive Sports Tourism Competition 2024; The 3rd Northwest Mountain Marathon 2024; Bac Ha District Ethnic Sports Festival; Ethnic Minority Costume Performance Contest; "Bac Ha Meal" Culinary Competition; The 3rd Mong Panpipe Art Performance Contest of Bac Ha District 2024.
On this occasion, there will also be a number of other activities at the hundred-year-old Hoang A Tuong ancient residence such as: reenacting the highland market; reenacting the cultural space of the Mong, Tay, Nung, and Dao people in Bac Ha district; displaying the art exhibition "Bac Ha in the four seasons of intoxication"; Rose Festival; performance program "White plateau dance"; display space "Brocade and gifts from roses" along with traditional folk games of the Bac Ha highlands...
