Many practical activities to support union members and workers

From the beginning of 2024 until now, grassroots trade unions in Quang Tri province have continued to effectively promote the movement "Raising piggy banks - Giving love" to build meaningful works and projects to give to children of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVC, LĐ) in difficult circumstances. As a result, 5,311 female union members, CNVC, LĐ participated in the movement with a total amount of nearly 400 million VND collected. From this source, 226 female union members, CNVC, LĐ and children of CNVC, LĐ in difficult circumstances have been supported.

In addition, implementing the 2024 key work program of the Provincial Labor Federation Standing Committee on mobilizing the donation of "Study Corners for children of union members, employees, and laborers", 36 grassroots unions responded and donated 45 study corners to children of union members in difficult circumstances in the area with a total amount of more than 75 million VND.

The program "Godmother - Spreading love" has also been effectively implemented by trade unions at all levels, directly sponsoring 225 orphans who are children of union members, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances in the province with a total amount of nearly 500 million VND.

Through the above activities, the spirit of "Mutual love and support" is demonstrated, creating solidarity, attachment and sharing among cadres, union members, employees and workers, contributing to taking care of students who are children of employees and workers in difficult circumstances; creating conditions and encouraging them to strive to study better, encouraging union members, employees and workers to overcome difficulties, work with peace of mind, work and produce, and actively contribute to the development of agencies and enterprises.
