Through the investigation, the authorities identified three suspects, including AD (born in 2006) driving a motorbike with license plate number 82B1-904.08, A.Do (born in 2006, both residing in Kon Ro Bang I village, Vinh Quang commune) driving a motorbike with license plate number 82B1-836.96, doing a wheelie and weaving in and out of traffic in an urban area; AT (born in 2003, residing in Plei Don village, Quang Trung ward) driving a motorbike with license plate number 82B1-134.70, weaving and swerving.
At the police station, the subjects confessed that they often drove motorbikes and scooters in groups, traveling on the streets and internal roads of the new administrative area and provincial road 666 (in Vinh Quang commune) to commit acts that disrupt traffic order and safety, then filmed and posted them on social networks.
Kon Tum City Police drew up a record of the violations and decided to impose administrative fines totaling more than 26 million VND and revoke the driving licenses of the violators.
Previously, through two videos provided by local residents, Kon Tum City Police identified the owner of the motorbike with license plate number 82B2-067.97 as NTT (born in 2006, residing in Thang Loi ward). This person was fined more than 4 million VND for swerving and doing a wheelie.
The police also fined A.Kh. (born 2005, residing in Kon Ktu village, Dak Ro Wa commune) 5.4 million VND for driving motorbike with license plate 82B-08650 while doing a wheelie, weaving, and swerving.
