This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is recruiting 8,300 students. In previous years, on the first day of admission procedures, new students and their families often had to wait in line for quite a long time. To shorten the time, this year the school organized thorough training for collaborators on how to arrange admission notices, check and verify student information..., and at the same time increased support and arranged resting areas for relatives of new students.

"The team of collaborators are students currently studying at the school. Within 12 hours of opening the registration portal, the school received more than 300 students registering to volunteer" - MSc. Son informed.

Mr. Le Van Hoang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry Youth Union, said that 1,200 dormitory spaces are reserved for new students. After completing the admission application and having a student ID number, students can register online to reserve a dormitory space.

The dormitory of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City has more than 2000 places, this year the school reserved about 500 places for new students with full facilities. In addition, the Youth Union of the school also organizes activities to support finding accommodation near the school, coordinates with new students to get Honda driving licenses.

Ms. Ngo Thi Xuan, Deputy Head of Admissions and Communications Department - Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, said that as soon as the school announced the admission scores, new students could register for the dormitory immediately. To avoid the situation of "losing both money and health" due to being scammed by bad guys while looking for a room, Hung Vuong University has implemented a safe accommodation model for new students.

Lecturers and students of Hung Vuong University surveyed dormitories for new students on the morning of August 19.

According to MSc. Nguyen Thi Mai Binh, Head of Training Department - Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City, this school year, the school moved to a new campus in An Nhon Ward. The distance from the old dormitory to the main campus is quite far, not convenient for students to travel. Therefore, the school has flexibly decided to switch 100% to a safe boarding house model.

MSc. Binh said that this model has been implemented for several years now, along with supporting dormitories for students. Starting from the beginning of July, the school has coordinated with local police to search for safe and reputable student housing areas.

"Information about the rooms is verified and carefully screened, helping students avoid the risk of being scammed when making deposits or other problems that may arise" - Master Binh emphasized.

In addition, the school also supports new students to live with alumni or previous students.

At Van Lang University, the dormitory building has 1,026 rooms. Each room has a balcony and is fully furnished with air conditioning, mini fridge, private bathroom, hot and cold water heater, study desk, bookshelf, wardrobe, and separate personal bed.
