A group of people rushed to beat the car driver and asked, "Do you know who I am?"

(NLDO) - Mr. Le Ngoc L. was driving near his home when a group of 3 people jumped in and beat him up, causing injuries and asking, "Do you know who I am?"


On January 12, Mr. Le Ngoc L. (born in 1988, residing in Hung Dinh ward, Thuan An city, Binh Duong province), said he reported the incident of being beaten and injured by 3 men and having his car vandalized... to the police.

According to Mr. L., the incident happened at around 1 a.m. the same day. Mr. L. said he was a driver and at that time he was driving from Dat Thanh intersection to his home in Hung Loc neighborhood (Hung Dinh ward). Because the road was narrow, he drove slowly. However, when he had just arrived at the gate of his house, he was blocked by two men on a motorbike (not wearing helmets, showing signs of intoxication) who started a fight.

These two men thought that Mr. L. was blocking the car, so they smashed the back of Mr. L's car. Because Mr. L was afraid that the taillights would break, he opened the door to see and asked why he was smashing the car. One of the two men who caused the trouble said, "Do you know who I am?". Then, the two men rushed in and smashed Mr. L's car.

Not stopping there, these two people called another man and then jumped in to beat him until Mr. L. collapsed on the ground.

Mr. L. said he was beaten and had bleeding on his left hand and many injuries on his head.

Mr. L. recounted the incident.

According to Mr. L.'s assertion, he did not know this group of people and had no previous conflicts.

When the incident happened, Mr. L. reported it to Hung Dinh Ward Police. Hung Dinh Ward Police came to the scene to check and said they would handle the case.
