VTV.vn - The editorial board of the 14th National Congress documents has published a report on a number of new and important issues in the Draft Documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Along with new points in terms of theme and structure, the Report has stated 18 new points in the Draft Political Report, including the distillation and updating of viewpoints, goals, tasks, and breakthrough strategic decisions in the Politburo's resolutions issued from the end of 2024 to present; the addition of "Theory on the renovation path" as a component of the Party's ideological foundation; the addition of "environmental protection" along with economic and social development as the "central" task.

In addition, adding "foreign affairs and international integration" to national defense and security is an "important and regular" task; establishing a new growth model, restructuring the economy, promoting industrialization and modernization; taking science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main driving force.

Some new points analyzed in the report are considering the private economy as the most important driving force of the economy; culture and people as the foundation, resources, endogenous strength and a great driving force, a regulatory system for sustainable social development. The issue of building a modern national education system, on par with the region and the world; breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and some other new points.
