Ms. H.’s daughter in Da Nang accidentally threw a set of jewelry, including a diamond ring, into the trash while cleaning the house for Tet. Afterwards, environmental workers assisted in recovering the property.
On January 29, speaking with VietNamNet reporters, the leader of the Transportation Enterprise under the Da Nang Urban Environment Company said that workers of the unit had just assisted and found valuable assets lost by Ms. CTMH (residing in Cam Le district) on New Year's Eve 2025.
The property found included jewelry, including a diamond ring, estimated to be worth over 1 billion VND.
Specifically, while cleaning the house for Tet, Ms. H.'s daughter, who had just returned from studying abroad, took a bag containing a diamond ring to the trash can on Nguyen Huu Tho Street (Cam Le District), which was then collected and brought back to be compressed at Le Thanh Nghi Station (Hai Chau District).
After discovering the incident, Ms. H. followed the garbage truck to Khanh Son landfill (Lien Chieu district) to ask for help dumping in a separate area to search.
Workers of the unit assisted in the search. Near New Year's Eve, the above jewelry was found and returned to Ms. H.
