Man's body found after 5 days missing in deep forest

On September 29, the People's Committee of Thanh Binh Commune (Da Nang City) announced that it had just found the body of Mr. NMT (62 years old, residing in Thanh Binh Commune). Mr. NMT went into the forest to look for honey and had been missing since September 25.

Accordingly, on the same morning, dozens of people including functional forces and local people continued to enter the area where Mr. NMT went missing to search. At about 13:00, the search force discovered the victim's body in the deep forest in Son Cam Ha commune, bordering Thanh Binh commune.

Previously, as reported, on the morning of September 25, Mr. NMT and Mr. PH went into the mountainous forest area of ​​​​village 5 (Thanh Binh commune) to look for beehives. During the trip, the two people split into two directions and agreed to meet at a point, but the two did not meet at the meeting place.

After searching unsuccessfully, at 12 noon the same day, Mr. PH returned to inform his family and asked people to look for Mr. NMT. ​​On September 27, after receiving the information, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Binh commune mobilized more than 60 people, including local forces and dozens of local people, to go into the forest to search. On the morning of September 28, the functional forces gathered at the People's Committee of the commune to prepare to continue the search, but due to heavy rain and high risk of landslides, they had to temporarily stop.

Kham Duc commune authorities search for victims swept away by floodwaters.

* On the same day, Mr. Ho Cong Diem, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kham Duc Commune ( Da Nang City) said that the authorities also found the body of Mr. LVK (27 years old, residing in Kham Duc Commune) who went missing while swimming across the river two days ago.

Previously, at 4:30 p.m. on September 27, in the Nuoc My River area, Mr. LVK (working in village 6, Phuoc Hiep commune) swam across the river to return home after work and was unfortunately swept away by the water. At about 2:00 p.m. on September 29, Mr. LVK's body was found in the Nuoc My River.
