This list was published on the official website of the State Council of Professors from September 8. Of the total 16 applications approved by the Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of Culture - Arts - Sports , there are 8 applications belonging to the field of Culture, 5 applications belonging to the field of Sports and only 3 applications belonging to the field of Arts. Among them, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan (full name: Nguyen Thi Tan Nhan) is the only female candidate in the field of arts.
Over 16 years of experience in music education
Graduated with a major in Vocal Music from the Vietnam National Academy of Music in 2010, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan has more than 16 years of teaching and training experience. She taught at many institutions such as Ha Long College of Culture, Arts and Tourism , Central University of Art Education, before working at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
In 2017, Doctor of Music - Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan was appointed Deputy Head of the Vocal Department, and by 2024 became Head of the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
In her professional activities, she has 14 scientific articles (including 2 articles published in international journals) and published 2 books. The female artist owns 3 artworks that won national awards, 6 personal awards and 17 awards from student guidance work. In addition, she received a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (2020) and twice won the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level (2018, 2024).

Aspiration to become a People's Teacher
Not only successful on stage, Tan Nhan especially values the education career. She once shared: "Being a People's Teacher (NGND) is much more important to me. Many people say that famous artists only need to sing, but I want to contribute to training and guiding students on the artistic path."
According to the artist, the title of People's Artist (NSND) is a great honor, but the title of People's Artist is her aspiration and destination. Therefore, since entering the profession, she has cherished the wish to pass on her knowledge and love of music to the next generation, contributing to training a new generation of artists for the Vietnamese music industry.
Tan Nhan also emphasized the desire to preserve and spread traditional music: "I want young people, no matter how high or far they fly, to remember their national cultural roots. That's why I always try my best to research and study to make my dream come true."

Born in 1982 in Ha Nam, Tan Nhan entered the professional art career when she won first prize in the folk music category at the Sao Mai 2005 contest. Since then, she has regularly released music products, organized many live shows, and left an impression on audiences through albums imbued with folk culture such as Yem dao xuong pho, Niu dai lua dao...
In 2019, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis, becoming one of the young music doctors in Vietnam. In parallel with her performing career, Tan Nhan devotes much of her passion to teaching, researching and training the young generation of singers.
