In the final round of the Vietnam Youth Workers Football Tournament - Red Bull Cup, Hyundai Thanh Cong VN FC (representing the Red River Delta region) excellently overcame a series of strong opponents to reach the final match taking place this afternoon.

In round 1, Hyundai Thanh Cong VN FC defeated their opponent FC Ching Luh Vietnam with a score of 3-0, before overcoming FC SI Flex in the semi-finals with a final score of 2-1 to enter the final match against another excellent team, FC Changshin Vietnam.

In the bronze medal match, FC SI Flex will have a very exciting match with their opponent Haduwaco FC - the team that stopped in the semi-finals after losing to FC Changshin Vietnam 0-4.

Nguyen Tuan Minh from Ninh Binh , defender of Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam team, shared before the final match: "All 8 teams coming to the final round are very worthy. We are very grateful to the Organizing Committee for creating a playground for workers from all over the country.

Our team consists of 23 players selected by the company from among the staff and workers of units, factories, and departments through previous small tournaments, from which a common team is established to compete in local, regional, and national tournaments.

All 23 members of Hyundai Thanh Cong VN FC arrived in Hanoi on the afternoon of November 24. In addition, a group of team leaders, players' family members and company employees also departed from Ninh Binh on the morning of November 25 to cheer for the team.

All Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam players are passionate. The players on the field and the fans are the "number 8 players" on the field, bringing great energy to contribute to the team's overall results. On this journey, everyone is united and walking together.

"The cheerleaders are all football lovers, some of them are members of the company's women's football team. We have a very high sportsmanship and want to go to Hanoi to cheer, motivate our brothers, and hope they win. We really hope to bring the cup back to Ninh Binh.

We also hope that next year, the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation, together with TCP Vietnam Company and Red Bull brand, will have a tournament for female workers across the country," said Ms. Minh Lieu.
