The Japan Study Abroad Festival in Da Nang is organized by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) in collaboration with the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang.
The fair brings together 15 prestigious universities and educational institutions from Japan, providing updated information on scholarships, training programs, and career opportunities after graduation.
Students and parents can directly meet and exchange 1-1 with school representatives, and access hundreds of scholarships, including prestigious programs such as MEXT and JASSO.
Not only receiving documents and souvenirs from the booths, many young people also shared that they were inspired to pursue their dream of studying abroad.
Kieu Phuong and Huynh Nhu (freshmen) said that at first they only came to learn out of curiosity, but after the consultation, both of them were especially interested in APU University with its scholarship policy that lasts for 4 years if they meet academic and behavioral requirements.

Ms. Vo Thi Hanh (55 years old), with her son Minh Hung, a 12th grade student, shared: "My family already has a child studying at Kansai University. Today, coming to the festival, my son and I are very excited because we can update new information about policies, scholarships and learn about many other options."
Mr. Terado Hirotsugu - Consul, Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, said that the festival, which is usually held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, is now present in Da Nang.
"We hope that the festival will bring useful information, inspiring young people to study in Japan. A lot of practical information will be shared at the festival such as programs currently taught in English, internship and work opportunities in Japan after graduation...", he emphasized.

Mr. Ngo Quang Thanh, representative of Teikyo University (Japan), informed that there are more than 1,000 international students out of a total of nearly 40,000 students, of which nearly 150 are Vietnamese.
Sendagaya University Preparatory Institute (affiliated with Teikyo) alone has more than 200 Vietnamese students out of a total of nearly 3,000 students from 24 countries.
