(Dan Tri) - Mr. Le Anh Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Phuc province, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, and given the authority to be the director of this department.

On November 22, the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province held a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work at the Department of Information and Communications (DIC).

Accordingly, Chairman of Vinh Phuc province Tran Duy Dong has decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Anh Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications and delegate the authority of this department.

Mr. Nguyen Tat Sang, Deputy Chief of Office of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Vinh Phuc province.

Presenting the appointment decision, Mr. Tran Duy Dong affirmed that this is the trust and confidence of Vinh Phuc province's leaders in these two officials.

In their new positions, Mr. Tan and Mr. Sang must continue to make efforts, promote their capacity and intelligence, and work with the leadership and staff of the Department of Information and Communications to unite and successfully complete their tasks.

Emphasizing that in recent years, Vinh Phuc has focused on promoting the building of digital government, digital economy , and digital society, but the Chairman of Vinh Phuc province assessed that the province's digital transformation work is not strong and has not met the requirements.

From there, Mr. Dong requested the Department of Information and Communications to proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on State management in this field. The tasks and targets of the industry also need to be reviewed; advise on effective implementation of digital transformation, building a digital economy, digital society, digital citizens, and applying AI technology to all areas of life.

Speaking on accepting his new assignment, Acting Director of the Department of Information and Communications Le Anh Tan promised to try his best to learn, use all his ability, intelligence and enthusiasm with the agency's staff to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
