Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc said that the bridge on the coastal road connecting An Bien - Rach Gia is identified as one of the projects of strategic significance, connecting the coastal road, connecting the An Giang and Ca Mau regions, creating new momentum for socio -economic development, responding to climate change, and making an important contribution to ensuring security and national defense.

The project opens up development space towards the western sea for the province and is a gateway connecting the Mekong Delta region, creating a premise for developing the marine economy in the spirit of Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW, dated April 2, 2022 of the Politburo .
The project is invested by the Department of Construction of An Giang province, has a length of 2.8km, 6 lanes wide, total investment capital of 3,900 billion VND, project implementation time of 1,080 days.
During the implementation process, comrade Ngo Cong Thuc requested the Department of Construction to closely coordinate with departments, branches, localities, construction units, design consultants, supervision consultants and related units to support, promptly handle difficulties and problems, closely monitor and urge the implementation progress, ensuring the project is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.

On behalf of the construction unit, Mr. Vuong Duc Truong, Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Truong Phat Company Limited committed to construct package No. 6: Construction of a bridge on the coastal road connecting An Bien - Rach Gia in accordance with the design documents, ensuring technical and aesthetic standards, ensuring labor safety and environmental sanitation, security, order, coordinating to ensure traffic safety at the construction site and relevant legal regulations.
With a sense of responsibility and especially to affirm the reputation of the contractor's brand, he committed to completing the construction 180 days ahead of schedule according to the signed contract.

The image of the bridge with its soft but sturdy curves reflected on the water surface and under the brilliant sunset of the West Sea, not only creates a beautiful architectural work, but also has a profound meaning for the history and culture of the heroic land. The project, once completed, will have a distinctive symbolism, not only the pride of the Tay Yen and Rach Gia communities, but also the pride of the people of An Giang province in general. |
