(Dan Tri) - Coach Ruben Amorim admitted that he fully supports Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo's argument after Man Utd's 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen on the morning of December 13.
Man Utd had a successful comeback against Viktoria Plzen in the 6th match of the UEFA Europa League group stage on the morning of December 13. Hojlund's double helped the "Red Devils" gain an important victory and rise to 7th place on the rankings, the position to get a direct ticket to the round of 16.
After the match, cameras captured two Man Utd stars, Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo, arguing on the pitch, seemingly unhappy about the decision not to pass the ball to each other on the pitch in the extra minutes at the end of the second half.
Sharing with the media, coach Amorim unexpectedly praised the argument between the two players and considered it a good point in young players.

"I grasped the situation and saw that everything was perfect. Man Utd needed to play with such emotion. The players argued or argued with each other on the pitch, proving that we played together as a family. For me, that was a very positive sign. Emotion is necessary, and it is really important.
Of course, all arguments must stop at a certain level, then the players need to regain their composure. If things go too far, I will intervene in the dressing room. I am very happy with today's victory, most importantly, the whole team fought together," coach Amorim shared after the match.
Hojlund's great contribution not only helped the "Red Devils" continue their unbeaten streak in the European arena but also created good momentum to prepare for the Manchester derby this weekend.
In his post-match statement, coach Amorim also praised Hojlund, the best player of the match: "This young player is improving day by day, his ball playing skills and off-ball movement are becoming more complete. Today he shone and Hojlund will certainly do so in many matches to come."
Hojlund came off the bench and scored twice to give Man Utd their first away win in European competition since March 2023, boosting their chances of reaching the knockout stages.
Man Utd have two remaining matches of the UEFA Europa League group stage against Rangers on January 24 at home and away at FCSB on January 31.
