According to the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment on February 27, the media reported that "Police discovered hundreds of drug pills in the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi".

The content reflects that the Quang Binh Provincial Police discovered hundreds of drug pills in the hospital and arrested two employees of an outside laundry company that was cooperating with the hospital.

The Department requested the hospital leadership to closely coordinate, provide information and create all conditions with the police and law enforcement agencies to promptly investigate and strictly handle the right person and the right crime. At the same time, the hospital was requested to promptly report the incident before 11:30 on February 28 so that the Department could synthesize and report to the leaders of the Ministry of Health .

As Tuoi Tre Online reported at noon on February 27, the leader of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) confirmed that the provincial police had arrested two employees of a laundry company in connection with the case of hundreds of drug pills discovered in the hospital.

These two employees belong to an independent company, which is under a service contract with the hospital, and is in charge of laundry and also lives in a separate room on the hospital premises.

These are two people believed to be directly involved in the nearly 500 pills of drugs that police recently discovered in the hospital.

From the evening of February 26, dozens of soldiers from the anti-drug force of Quang Binh Provincial Police and a number of coordinating units were present at the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi to conduct a search.

Police later discovered nearly 500 synthetic drug pills hidden in the laundry area. The drugs were determined to be related to two people from the laundry company.
