Approval of the Project of Compensation, support, resettlement for investment in construction of Ma Da bridge

The Project of Compensation, Support, and Resettlement for Investment in Construction of Ma Da Bridge will recover nearly 2 hectares of land in the communes of Tri An and Tan Loi, Dong Nai province. The project has a total investment of nearly 3.8 billion VND, with implementation period from 2025 to 2027.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to be the project investor. According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the amount of compensation and support when reclaiming land to implement the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project is not much. The reason is that the area to be reclaimed and the number of households affected when implementing the project is small, the land within the project area is mostly public land, and there are no households that need to be resettled.

Previously, on August 19, Dong Nai province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project. The Ma Da Bridge Construction Project has its starting point connecting to Provincial Road 753 in Tan Loi Commune, Dong Nai Province; its end point is on a trail in the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, in Tri An Commune, Dong Nai Province. Ma Da Bridge is more than 580m long, with a scale of 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motorized vehicles, with a design speed of 80km/h. The approach roads at both ends of the bridge have a scale corresponding to the bridge, along with the median strip and dirt shoulders on both sides of the road. The project has a total investment of more than 130 billion VND.

The investment in the construction of Ma Da Bridge aims to form a traffic connection route within Dong Nai province (formerly Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces), creating a smooth traffic system in the province. From there, it will form an inter-regional traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, promoting the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks... promoting local socio-economic development.

Currently, Dong Nai province is promoting the implementation of the project of the connecting route from Dong Xoai to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City via Provincial Road 753, Ma Da Bridge; the route connecting Ma Da Bridge to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City.
