Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong visited and gave gifts to the elderly

BAC NINH - On the morning of October 1, on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1), Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province visited and presented gifts to the elderly in Lang Giang commune. Accompanying him were representatives of the Department of Health and the Provincial Association of the Elderly.

The two elders who received gifts were Vu Thi Sen (born in 1916), Yen Vinh village; Hoang Thi Bai (born in 1916), Tan Luan village.

Comrade Ngo Tan Phuong gave a gift to Ms. Vu Thi Sen.

They are all exemplary senior members who have carried out emulation movements and made many contributions to the development of their homeland; at the same time, they care about teaching their children and grandchildren to always strictly follow the Party's policies and the State's laws, and build a cultured family.

Comrade Ngo Tan Phuong and leaders of the Department of Health and the Provincial Association of the Elderly presented gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Bai.

At the places he visited, comrade Ngo Tan Phuong kindly asked about the health and living conditions of the elderly, encouraged them to live happily and healthily, promote the spirit of "the tall tree casts a great shadow", and always be a shining example for everyone to follow.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the work of caring for the elderly has always received attention from the whole society, contributing to beautifying the nation's tradition of "respecting the elderly and valuing longevity".

He suggested that local authorities continue to arrange and mobilize resources and organize many activities to better care for the material and spiritual life of the elderly in the area.
