Phu Tho has 3 farmers achieving the title "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers"

The Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union has just announced the decision to award the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" in 2025, "Scientist of Farmers" for the 6th time in 2025.

2025 is the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association . The Selection Council held a final meeting to find 63 outstanding Vietnamese Farmers and 32 Farmers' Scientists in 2025. 95 outstanding individuals nationwide will be honored on the occasion of the upcoming 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2025).

Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer - Mr. Nguyen Tung Duong (Tam Duong Bac commune)

According to the report of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnamese Farmers' Pride Program 2025, after more than 3 months of receiving, by July 18, 2025, the Organizing Committee had received 153 nominations, of which 149 were valid. Among them, 100 "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers" and 49 "Farmer Scientists " were sent from the Farmers' Association of 63 provinces/cities (old administrative units) and the nominating ministries and branches. Of which, Phu Tho province has 3 farmers achieving the title of Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers in 2025 and 1 Farmer Scientist in 2025.

These are all examples of dynamic and creative farmers in economic development; daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate, mastering science and technology and ready to make efforts to meet market demands; being the driving force to encourage farmers across the country to enthusiastically participate in production labor, promoting economic development, gradually building a model of ecological agriculture, modern countryside and civilized farmers.

Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer - Mr. Chu Van Sam (An Nghia commune)

Notably, due to the province merger arrangement, Phu Tho has 3 farmers awarded the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" including: Mr. Chu Van Sam (born in 1948) in Dong Danh Village, An Nghia Commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Toan (born in 1964) in Zone 7, Hy Cuong Commune and Mr. Nguyen Tung Duong (born in 2000) in Tam Duong Bac Commune and 1 "Farmer Scientist" Mr. Vu Xuan Duong (born in 1984) in Tan Thanh Street, Viet Tri Ward. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Tung Duong (born in 2000) with the model of growing Golden Camellia is the youngest representative of the 63 outstanding Vietnamese farmers in 2025.

The ceremony to honor and award titles to “Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers” and “Farmer Scientists” is one of a series of events in the “Pride of Vietnamese Farmers” Program held annually to encourage, motivate, and spread examples of dynamic and creative farmers in economic development; daring to think and act, exploiting and effectively using capital, labor, and land resources, and boldly applying science, technology, and new technologies in production.
