According to the organizers, PNJ is one of the few enterprises setting leading standards in building, practicing and managing sustainable development strategies.
PNJ's recognition in the category of "Sustainability Leadership" demonstrates the efforts of the board of directors in integrating ESG strategy into the company's overall development strategy, creating practical value for stakeholders.

Specifically, the award evaluates a combination of many criteria, emphasizing the organization's leadership capacity: long-term leadership vision, innovation and adaptability, and a clear sustainable development roadmap.
At the event, the organizers said that representatives of the Vietnamese jewelry industry had excellently met all of the above criteria thanks to their progressive vision and comprehensive ESG practice and management capacity in all three pillars: environment (E), society (S) and governance (G).
This becomes the core competitive strength to help PNJ overcome market fluctuations and continuously grow sustainably.

Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao, Vice Chairwoman of PNJ Board of Directors, said: “Consistently implementing ESG pillars is a solid foundation, helping us maintain a stable growth rate, increase attractiveness in the capital market, and at the same time create positive values for shareholders, employees and the social community.”

From a governance perspective, PNJ launched the ESG Committee in mid-2022. However, in fact, the company has had a 37-year journey of persistently pursuing the sustainable development philosophy of "putting customer interests and social interests into corporate interests".
The company strives to balance financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee development and community responsibility to create long-term value for all stakeholders.
PNJ is currently the leading jewelry and lifestyle retailer in Vietnam with more than 428 stores nationwide, with nearly 9,000 employees, including a team of 1,700 goldsmiths. PNJ has been honored for many years as a happy working environment for employees with outstanding welfare policies.
Specifically, the average salary increase rate last year was 7.2%. In addition, the company organized hundreds of training courses for employees to improve performance and work creatively in the new era.
PNJ also pioneers in implementing many corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, contributing to promoting sustainable development locally.
CSR projects that have created positive impacts and great influence such as Cinderella's Dream, Zero-dong Mini Supermarket, Happy Young Family, Raising Awareness of Autism in Vietnamese Children... have created conditions and supported beneficiaries to improve their quality of life and pursue their dreams.

The right ESG strategy has brought outstanding business results to PNJ. Last year, the company set new records in revenue and profit after tax, reaching VND37,823 billion and VND2,115 billion, respectively.
Revenue and profit in the first half of this year continued to develop positively in the context of general market difficulties, respectively completing 55.1% and 57.1% of the year's target. Applying new technology to retail, modern marketing and communication strategies continued to be important supports for business growth.
PNJ brand reputation is constantly improving. The company continuously receives prestigious awards from international organizations such as Fortune Southeast Asia 500, Forbes, JWA and has been honored as a National Brand for many consecutive years.
Recently, Brand Finance valued the PNJ brand at 523 million USD, an increase of nearly 9% compared to last year and ranked 9th in the "Top 10 strongest Vietnamese brands in 2025".

Growth potential and transparent governance are also what make PNJ attractive in the eyes of many financial institutions and foreign investment funds. Typically, in mid-May, investment fund T. Rowe Price Associates (USA) became a major shareholder of the company, then continued to increase its ownership ratio.
According to Ms. Thao, reality has proven that focusing on sustainable development factors not only helps PNJ minimize risks and improve operational efficiency, but also builds solid trust from customers, investors and the community.
Resolutely acting on ESG pillars is expected to be a solid foundation for the company's next 5-year development period.
