In Kim Phu commune, although the Ruc ethnic villages of On, Mo O O O, and Yen Hop are isolated by floodwaters, commune officials still overcome difficulties to go to the places to give gifts.
Mr. Tran Xuan Tu, Head of On village, emotionally said: “The gift from the Central Government is very practical. For the Ruc people, this is a big gift to buy rice, salt, and instant noodles to store for the flood season.”
In Thuong Trach commune, Mr. Dinh Cu, an A Rem, shared: “Commune officials came to the village to give gifts to the people. When they talked about the gifts from the Central Government, everyone was happy. On big holidays, A Rem people deep in the mountains also received gifts, which warmed their hearts.”
At Lom village (Dan Hoa commune), although many villages were swept away by floodwaters, commune officials and border guards still traveled more than 50km of forest road to give gifts to the people.

In Ba Long commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Huu Ninh said that by 6:30 p.m. on August 30, the commune had finished distributing gifts to all 5,184 people. "People are very excited," he said.

On the afternoon of August 31, people in Truong Son commune also gathered to receive gifts at pre-announced locations. Mr. Nguyen Van Trang shared: "Everyone is excited because the gifts reached every elderly person and child, without missing a single one."

On the same day, Dong Son Ward People's Committee distributed gifts to 31,830 people, striving to complete before 6:00 p.m. so that people could celebrate National Day.
During the flood, the support of 100,000 VND per person, although not large, is a deep concern of the Party, State and Government , a source of encouragement for people to be more confident before the storm season. The presence of border guards in the villages further demonstrates the spirit of "leaving no one behind".
