Military Region 7 launched a contest to learn about the glorious 80-year history of tradition.

The Political Department of Military Region 7 has just issued a plan to organize a contest to learn about the tradition of '80 years of glorious history of Military Region 7'.

The contest aims to promote to officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people in Military Region 7 a deep awareness, trust and pride in the history, glorious tradition and great contributions of Military Region 7 in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland and fulfilling glorious international duties.

At the same time, encourage and motivate officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people in Military Region 7 to promote the spirit of determination to fight and win; the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant, to build a comprehensively strong, "exemplary and typical" armed force of Military Region 7, contributing to building and firmly protecting the Fatherland.

Contestants are 100% of officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, workers and defense officials, reserve forces, and militia and self-defense forces in the armed forces of Military Region 7.

The contest is also open to officials, civil servants, and public employees of local agencies, departments, and branches; union members, youth, and members of socio-political organizations; students of schools (universities, colleges, high schools, etc.) in Military Region 7 and all people.

Entries must be presented in handwritten or typed form in Vietnamese, bound into a book, and the use of models, devices, and supporting technology is encouraged...

Contest entries must clearly state the full name, age, address, occupation, and phone number of the individual. Contest entries by officers and soldiers in the armed forces of Military Region 7 must clearly state their full name, rank, position, and unit and be sent to the organizing committee of the military region-level contest (via the propaganda department) within the prescribed time.

The Organizing Committee does not accept copied works or works written by multiple people (co-authors). A work can only be submitted to one organization or unit (it cannot be submitted to many different organizations).

The Organizing Committee will award a total of 30 prizes. Of which, there are 2 first prizes (each worth 7 million VND), 5 second prizes (each worth 5 million VND), 9 third prizes (each worth 3 million VND).

According to the plan, the competition at all levels will end before September 30, 2025. From October 1 to October 10, 2025, agencies and units will report the competition results and entries at the Military Region 7 level to the Political Department.

From October 10 to October 31, 2025, the jury will score and summarize the results to report to the contest organizers and the Head of Military Region 7 Command.
