Quang Nam spends more than 19.8 billion VND to implement socio-economic development projects in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued a decision to allocate the 2023 investment capital plan to implement projects under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period in the province.

Accordingly, the province allocated a development investment capital plan for 2023 with a total amount of more than 19.8 billion VND from the central budget and provincial budget under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2025 to implement the projects.

Specifically, more than 7.8 billion VND is allocated for the Project on applying information technology to support socio-economic development and ensure security and order in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (Sub-project 2 - Project 10 of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Quang Nam province for the period 2021 - 2025).

Allocate 5.9 billion VND for the Project on village structure and arrangement and placement of ethnic minority residents in new rural construction for the Co ethnic group; leveling items; retaining walls and slope reinforcement; traffic system of internal roads; rainwater drainage and wastewater drainage system behind houses; water supply system; electricity supply and lighting system; community house, gate fence, concrete yard.

The province also allocated 6 billion VND for the project on village structure and arrangement and placement of ethnic minority residents in new rural construction for the Co Tu ethnic group; leveling items; retaining walls and slope reinforcement; traffic; rainwater drainage; domestic wastewater drainage; domestic water supply; electricity supply and lighting.
