Quang Ninh is planning up to 22 golf courses.

On August 19, information from the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee said that this locality has just reported on the planning and investment situation of golf courses in the area.

Specifically, according to the report of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, in Decision No. 80 of the Prime Minister on approving the Planning of Quang Ninh province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, this locality is planned to have 22 golf courses. Up to now, 3 courses have been invested in construction and put into operation, 2 courses are under construction, 1 course is implementing procedures to select investors to implement the project. 16 newly developed courses are attracting investors for research, but have not yet implemented investment.

In addition, golf course projects in the province are invested with large capital, making the most of the terrain location combined with preserving the surrounding natural landscape to ensure compliance with international standards, creating a new and attractive tourism and sports product, meeting the sports and entertainment needs of local people as well as domestic and foreign tourists coming and staying in Quang Ninh.

In the coming time, Quang Ninh province will focus on building more golf courses according to the plan to develop tourism.

In particular, Quang Ninh province has attracted many large, capable and experienced investors to invest in many new projects in tourism and resorts with golf course services. From there, it has increased budget revenue, created more jobs and income for the people.

Faced with this situation, the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee agreed that investing in golf course construction is one of the solutions to promote tourism and high-end services in the province, helping to diversify products and enhance tourism competitiveness.

With a terrain characteristic of more than 80% mountainous area and more than 6,000 ^km2 of sea surface, especially beautiful natural landscape, Quang Ninh has advantages to develop golf courses.

In order for Quang Ninh to become one of the golf tourism centers in the North, attracting domestic and international tourists, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee and localities to base on the planning orientation in the Provincial Planning, Construction Planning, Land, and Industry Planning... to strictly manage the current status and land use process in the areas planned for golf course investment.

In addition, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee assigned the relevant agencies to focus on promptly removing difficulties and obstacles for investors in the process of completing legal procedures for compensation for site clearance, land leveling, etc., as well as developing supporting services, trade, resorts, etc., forming a diverse service tourism chain, supporting the maximization of the value of golf course investment projects.
