Dr. Nguyen Anh Minh, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, said that this online art exhibition space can help artists introduce, promote, and preserve their works, while also being able to exchange, connect, and increase opportunities to meet art lovers and domestic and international collectors.

According to the museum's leadership, after 2 years of implementation, the Online Fine Arts Exhibition Space (VAES) was officially launched. The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and Vietsoft Pro Joint Stock Company have cooperated to build this space since 2021. The two major items inside the VAES space are the Lotus-shaped building architecture and the digital exhibition spaces, built with a roadmap and design suitable for each exhibition content.

In this 3D digital space that simulates real space, artists can find ways to display their works that suit their needs and creativity; visitors can also access exhibitions and artworks anytime, anywhere.

The first version of the online art exhibition space introduces 10 exhibitions, including 7 exhibitions displaying works from the collections of the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts, Hue Museum of Fine Arts and 3 solo exhibitions.

10 exhibition spaces are designed and simulated differently, based on exhibition models in major museums around the world , meeting diverse choices for artists who wish to register to participate in exhibitions in the VAES digital space of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.

The exhibition space offers an engaging and intuitive experience for viewers thanks to features such as viewing angle control, zooming, 3D interaction, etc.

“Building content and piloting the online art exhibition space is the first, strong, and creative step of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to introduce and promote the value of the country's art heritage and the new vitality of the country's art to a wide audience around the world. With the desire to erase the limits of distance and connect spaces, VAES also shares information about valuable Vietnamese artworks being kept in art museums and the endless creativity of contemporary artists,” said Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh.

In particular, the stylized lotus-shaped architectural building allows for realistic simulation of the physical space of actual art exhibitions, bringing an engaging and intuitive experience to viewers thanks to features such as viewing angle control, zooming, 3D interaction, etc.

According to artist Tran Thanh Binh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, this exhibition not only reaches a large number of viewers around the world but can also be used to educate and create learning opportunities; helping to preserve works of art and cultural heritage by allowing viewers to explore without physical contact, reducing the risk of damage.
