Ready for the special Opening Ceremony, school year 2025-2026

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Welcoming the new school year 2025-2026, teachers and students of schools across the province are completing the final work for the special Opening Ceremony taking place tomorrow morning (September 5).

This year, the opening ceremony will be held at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, at exactly 8:00 a.m. on September 5. It will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to all levels of education and educational institutions nationwide via television waves and transmission infrastructure provided by the telecommunications unit.

This year's opening ceremony is a special event, both welcoming the new school year and celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ), marking a long journey of development of Vietnam's education with many proud achievements.

In Thanh Hoa , according to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa, from 7:15 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. on September 5, 2025, students of schools will gather, stabilize the organization, welcome students of the first grade; welcome performance (if any); declare the reason, introduce delegates; welcome speeches for the new school year by school principals.

From 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., delegates, teachers, students will attend a joint program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and broadcast live on VTV1. Important ceremonies will be held in the joint program, including the flag salute and the national anthem. General Secretary To Lam is expected to give a speech and beat the drum to open the school year.

Teacher Duong Le Hoan, Principal of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School, said: "To prepare for this year's special Opening Ceremony, the school has closely coordinated with the technical unit to check the internet transmission system and LED screen for sound and image quality. The school has also assigned a technical team on-site to handle any arising situations regarding equipment, power sources, and networks to ensure stable signals, clear images and sounds, and ensure the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony."

This afternoon (September 4), the school will have a final rehearsal of the program to ensure all preparations are thorough and accurate.

Dao Duy Tu High School has installed a large LED screen and completed preparations for the Opening Ceremony.
