Recently, in the cozy atmosphere of a house in Tan Lap ward, the gentle eyes of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Toan suddenly shone brightly when welcoming General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense and a group of distinguished guests to visit on the occasion of July 27.
Mother Toan is 93 years old this year, her husband and two children are martyrs. Her hand trembles, tightly holding the General's hand, shining with simple but profound happiness: "I am very happy to see the country at peace , free, and the province is developing more and more". Simple but full of happiness, Mother's words express the satisfaction of a life dedicated to the Fatherland, for the country to grow strongly in independence and freedom.

The unit visits and gives gifts on holidays and Tet; builds gratitude houses; takes care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organizes the search, collection and burial of martyrs' remains; prepares dossiers to propose recognition of war invalids and martyrs. Every year, the provincial armed forces have presented hundreds of gifts with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND to policy families, war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs in the area. This is not only a political responsibility, but also a deep sentiment and sacred morality of soldiers towards their comrades and compatriots who have devoted and sacrificed for the country.

On the occasion of July 27 this year, the provincial military deployed working delegations to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lich (in Cu Pui commune); visit and burn incense to commemorate Major General Y Blok Eban (in Tan Lap ward); visit and pay tribute to former leaders of the Provincial Military Command through the periods.
The provincial military organized a meeting with wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs working in the force; directed subordinate units to give gifts and help policy families with working days.
Colonel Dinh Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, affirmed: The merits and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs are the foundation and spiritual support for each officer and soldier of the provincial armed forces to constantly strive to improve, train, contribute, and successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State, and People.
