Opening of the high-quality train pair SE19/SE20 on the Hanoi - Da Nang route to meet the increasing demand of domestic and international tourists for quality vehicles and services.
Accordingly, Haraco leaders said that this is not an investment project but only an upgrade and refurbishment of the SE19/SE20 train pair to create a unique brand and identity on the Hanoi - Da Nang route such as: Selecting good quality carriages for refurbishment, painting and gluing the inside walls to create highlights for the carriages, repainting the outside walls of the carriages, replacing blankets, sheets, pillows, window curtains, etc.
In particular, the sleeping compartment on train SE19/SE20 is designed to be luxurious and cozy. The air conditioning system has been reinstalled, with air outlet adjustment buttons to adjust the direction and volume depending on the needs of each passenger.
Along with that, the food service carriages on trains SE19/SE20 have been redesigned and re-furnished so that passengers always feel comfortable and friendly when eating, drinking and enjoying the scenery.
For passenger cars, the railway industry installed new hot water tanks and bright white ceramic sanitary equipment in the washrooms and toilets; at the same time, applied technical solutions to eliminate the cause of bad odors from waste containers, bringing a clean, luxurious feeling like in a hotel.
Along with investing in equipment, the company selects a team of experienced staff from train captains to service staff, attractive flight attendants, good communication skills and experience, especially those who can communicate in English. Along with that, the company designs and selects a unique uniform model to identify the staff of this train.
On this train, there is a cleaning staff, who professionally cleans the train according to operating procedures, monitors the quality of cleaning... This staff will be responsible for cleaning the toilets and wash areas on the train.
Train attendants clean the train cars, passenger areas, corridors... and even the restrooms when the dedicated cleaners are not available.
Regarding ticket price policy, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that it will keep the current ticket price. Specifically, the ticket price for train SE19 is 10% lower than the ticket price for train SE3, 5% lower than the ticket price for train SE1, accordingly the highest ticket price at the beginning of the week is 943,000 VND/ticket, the highest ticket price for weekend is 1,046,000 VND/ticket.
Train SE20 has the highest ticket price of 854,000 VND/ticket, 10-20% lower than train SE4 and 7-20% lower than train SE2.
Regarding on-train services, passengers who want to order regional products that the train passes through or products served on the train throughout the journey can use their smartphones to scan the QR code to access the link of the sales website.
On this page, passengers can freely choose the desired regional specialties to enjoy on the train or bring back as gifts.
