Admission method is based on high school graduation exam results. The combinations include A00 (math, physics, chemistry), B00 (math, chemistry, biology), B08 (math, biology, English). The threshold for receiving application documents is 17.

Candidates wishing to enter the school must submit their applications directly from 8:00 a.m. on September 3 to 4:00 p.m. on September 12. The application includes a notarized copy of the high school graduation exam certificate and a copy of the foreign language certificate and national and international awards (if any).

Previously, at the graduation ceremony held on August 29, the leaders of Hanoi Medical University said that out of more than 1,070 medical students graduating this year, 46 students achieved excellent grades, accounting for about 4.3%, the lowest in the country. No student received an excellent degree.

Specifically, in 2025, the school will have 726 medical graduates (6 years of study) in the fields of Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Dentistry.

In particular, there are 345 bachelor's degree graduates (4-year study) in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry, Public Health and Nutrition.

The whole school only had 46 excellent students, accounting for about 4.3%. The number of good students was 733, accounting for about 68.4%. The rest were average and average.

The school leaders said that the school's assessment and examinations are very strict. Studying here is very difficult so the rate of students graduating with honors is low.

Candidates take the theory exam on a computer with a question bank that is updated every year. For the clinical exam, they have to take a scenario test to assess their overall ability.
