Gia Lai dried durian presented at ASEAN Fruit Trade Conference in Guangxi

(GLO)- On June 18, the Tropi Durian freeze-dried durian product of Green Tropical Import-Export Processing Joint Stock Company (Chu Se district, Gia Lai province) was introduced to many international partners at the ASEAN Fruit Trade Conference in Guangxi 2025.

The ASEAN Fruits Gather in Guangxi 2025, held in Nanning City (Guangxi Province, China), is the largest trade event in the fruit industry in the ASEAN-China region.

The event, organized by the China-ASEAN Commodity Exchange (CAMEX), is within the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) - a free trade agreement with the participation of 15 countries (including ASEAN countries, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand).

Tropi Durian is the first freeze-dried durian product in Gia Lai , produced by Green Tropical Import-Export Processing Joint Stock Company (Chu Se town, Gia Lai province). The product applies modern freeze-drying technology to help preserve the flavor, nutrition and natural crispness of durian segments.

The presence of this product at the conference is not only an opportunity to promote Gia Lai's processed agricultural product brand to the international market, but also opens up the prospect of bringing Vietnamese dried durian to participate more deeply in the ASEAN-China agricultural value chain.

Green Tropical representative said that participating in this Trade Conference is the first step in the strategy to bring deeply processed products from Central Highlands agricultural products, especially durian, to access large markets with high requirements on quality and food safety standards.

The conference is also an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises in general and Gia Lai in particular to establish direct trade relationships with major importers and distributors in China and the ASEAN region, contributing to reducing dependence on intermediary traders and increasing added value for local agricultural products.
