Groundbreaking ceremony of Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion will be broadcast live

(DN) - On the morning of August 15, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung chaired an online meeting between the Ministry of Construction and centrally-run provinces and cities on preparations for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

At Dong Nai bridge, Deputy Director of Department of Construction Do Thanh Phuong chaired the meeting. Also attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung said: The whole country will have 250 projects and works with a total investment of 1.28 million billion VND to be inaugurated and commenced to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Of which, the Central Government has selected 80 online and live television stations, the remaining projects will be inaugurated and commenced simultaneously.

Dong Nai has 1 live TV broadcast point for the groundbreaking ceremony of Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion (in Tri An commune). This is 1 of 8 projects of Dong Nai to be started, inaugurated and ground-breaking this time. According to calculations, the total investment of 8 projects in the province is more than 50 trillion VND.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 on August 19, 2025 and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung requested that provinces and cities that have arranged direct connection points urgently carry out all preparations, from sound, images, and transmission lines, to ensure completion before August 17 so that a general rehearsal can be held on August 18.
