The live forum at the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City had about 600 students attending. Meanwhile, six student and youth organizations from ASEAN countries and representatives of 10 Vietnamese Student Association organizations in other countries (UK, Australia, Russia, Germany, Thailand, Singapore...) participated online at the bridge points.

Student forum moderators

The first noteworthy point is that the forum is run by students in all activities in the organization and implementation. It can be seen that the maturity of the students when the activities not only have students in Ho Chi Minh City but also representatives of foreign student organizations participating and everything is quite smooth.

From Ho Chi Minh City, Vo Lap Phuc (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education) chose the ASEAN logo and the "5 Good Students" logo to share that Vietnamese students in general, and Ho Chi Minh City students in particular, are very interested in learning about the common organization of the region.

According to Phuc, the ASEAN youth index includes criteria on youth awareness. "We can confidently say that the mature 5 Good Students are contributing to the ASEAN youth force, and each student in the city is ready to strive, train, and become an ASEAN citizen," Phuc said.

Meanwhile, student Kieu Anh (University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City National University) talked about the volunteer activities that many generations of Ho Chi Minh City students have carried out and left many good social marks, highly appreciated by people in many places.

Mr. Quy Pham (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education) talked about creative products made by students themselves, applying technology and digital transformation associated with the dynamic, creative and sensitive characteristics of current generation Z students.

Students in Ho Chi Minh City also actively participate and design activities for students to have the opportunity to access and interact with international academic and scientific research playgrounds. This is the sharing of "Outstanding Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City" Dang Le Minh Khang - currently a student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City. Those highlights create a dynamic, creative and energetic image of students in Uncle Ho City.

We encourage and are willing to act as a bridge for schools to proactively expand cooperation opportunities with international student organizations as well as existing Vietnamese Student Associations in other countries.

Ms. TRAN THU HA

Student Association as a bridge

President of the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Thu Ha said that this first forum, with the goal of increasing mutual understanding, chose the theme "Action for Students" with the hope that students would connect with each other, approach and contribute more to national issues, especially the activities and organization of the Student Association.

In the sharing of representatives of international student organizations, the guests introduced the activities and expressed their desire to have more connections and share activities with students in Ho Chi Minh City in the coming time. Likewise, representatives of the Vietnamese Student Association in some countries in their speeches also wished to share their experiences in working with the student movement in Ho Chi Minh City.

Along with that, Vietnamese Student Association organizations in other countries are very willing to support, connect and share with domestic international students when they study in the host country, so that a strong and connected Vietnamese international student community can be formed.

"From this activity, we can see the opportunity for cooperation, especially in the model of empowering students, the joint action of young people for the sustainable development of society and each country. Students can participate in community projects around the world to bring more positive changes to everyone" - Ms. Thu Ha said.
