The world's first IP69 water-resistant smartphone

The A3 Pro smartphone is expected to be launched on April 12 in China. Although it is a low-cost model, this device is attracting attention from the technology world because of interesting leaked information related to equipment such as design.

According to the famous Chinese leak source Digital Chat Station, the A3 Pro is equipped with a Dimensity 7050 processor, 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal memory. The device has a 6.7-inch wide screen that curves slightly towards the edge, full HD resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The punch-hole selfie camera is located in the center of the screen, while on the back is a large circular camera cluster, in which the main sensor has a resolution of 64 MP, 1/2 inch in size, f / 1.7 aperture. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

The Oppo A3 Pro's GeekBench (performance evaluation) score has also just appeared, with a single-core score of 904 points and a multi-core score of 2,364 points. The Dimensity 7050 was introduced by MediaTek in May 2023, designed on a 6nm process.

The configuration is not outstanding in the segment when there are some products with similar hardware power, but the highlight of the product is its water resistance. According to Oppo China General Director - Liu Ba, A3 Pro is the world's first "comprehensive waterproof" phone.

This is also the first time a commercial smartphone has achieved IP69 water and dust resistance standards. In addition, the device is also shock and abrasion resistant, which, according to Mr. Luu Ba, "reaches the level of the flagship line".

The expected price of this product is in the "1,000 yuan" segment, which means it will be anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 yuan. The previous generation, the A2 Pro, started at 1,799 yuan (about 6.2 million VND), so the A3 Pro is expected to have a similar price. The device comes in three colors: blue, pink, and blue, which the manufacturer calls "three colors inspired by the Song Dynasty."
