Sony Xperia 10 VII unexpectedly launched amid the iPhone 17 'wave'

After weeks of leaks, Sony has officially introduced its latest smartphone, the Xperia 10 VII.

Compared to the previous generation, the Xperia 10 VII is equipped with a camera cluster similar to that of the Google Pixel, a 50 MP main sensor with higher resolution, a smoother 120 Hz OLED screen and the latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip.

Xperia 10 VII not worth the price?

The Xperia 10 VII features a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 2TB. The 5,000mAh battery promises up to 2 days of use and supports PD fast charging.

For photography, the Xperia 10 VII is equipped with a versatile triple rear camera system, including a 50 MP wide-angle camera with 2x optical zoom and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera. The front selfie camera has a resolution of 8 MP. The phone runs on the Android 15 operating system with a commitment to provide up to 4 major operating system updates and 6 years of security warranty.

Additional features of the Xperia 10 VII include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, full-body front-facing stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, and NFC. Notably, the Xperia 10 VII is also equipped with IPX5/IPX8 water resistance and IP6X dust resistance.

The Xperia 10 VII will be available in three color options: white, turquoise, and charcoal. The product is priced at 449 EUR (13.9 million VND), but information about the market where the product will be sold has not been announced.
