
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the draft regulations include 4 chapters and 14 articles, focusing on regulations on the management of works commemorating martyrs and martyrs' graves in Quang Nam province; regulations on the responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals related to the management of works commemorating martyrs and martyrs' graves in Quang Nam province; reporting regime; rewards and handling of violations.
During the process of drafting the regulations, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs received 14 comments from departments, branches, sectors, units and localities. On that basis, the Department completed the draft and issued Submission No. 87, dated May 17, 2024, requesting the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate the Regulations on management of works honoring martyrs and martyrs' graves in Quang Nam province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to continue to receive comments and promptly complete the draft regulations to submit to the Provincial People's Committee. According to statistics from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the whole province has 131 martyr cemeteries, including 1 provincial martyr cemetery, 14 district-level and 116 commune-level. Regarding the number of graves in martyr cemeteries, there are 47 cemeteries burying more than 500 martyr graves and 84 cemeteries burying less than 500 martyr graves.
