And this club has also given me all the respect and the best support during my time here," Son Heung-min added.
Sitting next to him, Tottenham's new coach Thomas Frank also expressed sympathy for his new student's comments, but they will not work together for the rest of the 2025-2026 season which will start in about 2 weeks.

At the end of the press conference with the most important announcement of his career, Son Heung-min burst into tears. Up to now, Son Heung-min has had 10 seasons playing for Tottenham. He joined the North London team in August 2015, played a total of 454 matches, scored 173 goals and had 101 assists.
