"Start up" technology masters the work for development and integration

In 2023, Vietnam ranked 46/132 countries and economies , up 2 places in the Global Innovation Index ranking compared to 2022. This is a remarkable progress, but it does not reflect the real talent and strength of Vietnamese human resources. We have the right to be confident that in the coming years, Vietnam will continue to rise and be in the "Top" of the region like Singapore and Malaysia.

To increase the ranking of the Innovation Index, we must start from enterprises, or more precisely, technology startups will be the main force. In the two groups of input and output indexes for ranking, the role of enterprises is shown. In particular, the output index group includes: One is knowledge and technology products, the other is creative products. Both are placed on the shoulders of enterprises. Of course, because innovation must be measured by high-quality products, serving human life, accepted by the market. Even if the research results of a scientific work are "splendid" in theory, tested in the laboratory, but not turned into commercialized products, it is only "famous without substance". Therefore, Vietnam determined that if it wants to develop quickly and sustainably, it must rely on science, technology and innovation. Many localities have implemented startup support, including the "Startup Nation" program, but unfortunately, so far, there have not been many products that have caused "storms" in the global technology market. There are many programs, but there have not been many elites or unicorns. This is a reality that policymakers need to carefully observe to have measures to support and promote more successful and effective startup programs. Please note that in the group of innovation input indicators, number one is "institutions". If you innovate, you must be innovative and different, so if you are constrained by principles and regulations for what is already established, there will be no space for new things, no land for the birth of innovative products. Startups need policy support, ensuring protection of interests, protection of ownership rights and priorities for intellectual products. Innovation is a constant demand for social progress, so there must be appropriate solutions to support businesses to embark on the path of creativity. Solutions for creativity must of course be truly creative to harmonize with reality. To have knowledge and technology products, creative products, there must be a pioneering force of technology businesses, with the support of smart policies.
