According to Ms. Thuy, immediately after receiving feedback about the information about the lunch on October 6, the school verified and worked with the lunch service provider to evaluate and draw lessons to avoid similar incidents from happening again.
"Our school community is committed to tightening daily supervision more closely, to improve the quality of lunch service to better serve students. In the coming time, to ensure transparency, for each student's meal, the school will take a photo of the food portion and send it to the class groups, helping parents to grasp information promptly and monitor with the school, ensuring meal quality, food safety and more peace of mind," Ms. Thuy wrote in the document.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, social networks appeared a picture of a rice tray consisting of 3 pieces of ham, 1 boiled egg, 1 dish similar to sesame salt and soup with very little vegetables, said to be a 25,000 VND meal at school. The picture quickly attracted many comments saying that such a portion is too small compared to the price, making it difficult to ensure nutrition for boarding students.
Speaking with Thanh Nien , Mr. Tran Thanh Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Don Ward, confirmed that he had received the information and worked directly with the school, requesting a specific report and reviewing the entire meal supply process to ensure quality and food safety for students.
On the night of October 6, Ms. Thuy admitted that the meal did not meet standards and explained that the business that contracted with the school was negligent in the preparation stage, and because they did not use pork during the time of African swine fever and food shortages after the storm, the meal on October 6 did not meet standards.
