Specifically, traders in Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Bac Giang , Hung Yen, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang are purchasing live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, which is recorded as the highest price in the region.
Traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 65,000 VND/kg.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today increased and decreased by 1,000 VND in some localities and fluctuated between 61,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, and Dak Lak provinces are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND, the lowest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh provinces are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.
After the same price, traders in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai are buying live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong after reducing price is being purchased by traders at 63,000 VND/kg.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 62,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South today August 16, 2024
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities and fluctuated between 61,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Ca Mau are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, which is the highest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
After reducing the price, traders in Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Tien Giang are buying live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, the same price as in Bac Lieu and Ben Tre.

Also reducing the price, traders in Tay Ninh and Hau Giang are purchasing live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Vung Tau, Long An, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Tra Vinh, and Soc Trang.
In general, the price of live pigs today fluctuated in opposite directions of 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 61,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
