On the morning of October 17, the Provincial People's Committee organized a dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and young people in Ha Tinh province in 2023 with the theme "Ha Tinh youth pioneer digital transformation, actively participate in socio- economic development".

Delving into the contents that the province's youth are interested in, in the field of digital transformation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai affirmed that, first of all, the youth union organization and youth union members, each young cadre, civil servant and public employee must determine their role and responsibility as "pioneers" in implementing digital transformation.

The Department of Information and Communications shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise on the development of a digital infrastructure development plan until 2025, with a vision to 2030; advise on the issuance of a resolution on policies for community digital transformation teams; proactively coordinate with the Provincial Police to deploy specific solutions in the fight against and prevention of risks of cyber security, especially crimes and violations of the law in cyberspace.

Assign the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise on training, fostering and attraction mechanisms for young cadres, civil servants and public employees in the fields of science and technology, information technology, digital transformation, etc.

Regarding support for youth start-ups, vocational training, and job creation for youth, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to survey and carefully assess the employment and vocational training needs of youth; have orientations for youth to proactively equip themselves with knowledge and working skills in the period of digital technology development and digital transformation; and advise on solutions to make vocational training for youth after discharge from the army effective.

The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to promptly advise competent authorities to submit and promulgate credit policy projects to support youth in starting and establishing businesses. The Provincial Bank for Social Policies and relevant departments and branches are requested to create all favorable conditions for youth to access preferential loans to serve production, business, and implement start-up and innovation models. The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns, based on the recommendations and proposals of union officials, union members and youth, need to research, develop and effectively implement mechanisms and policies to support youth in starting and establishing businesses and participating in socio-economic development in the locality.
