Training on professional work of the Front in 2024

On November 1, at To Hieu Political School, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City held a training conference on professional work of the Front in 2024.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts; Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level; Head of the Outstanding Front Work Committee; and leaders of the city's socio-political organizations.

At the conference, Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City, informed some basic and core features of the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.

Specifically, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029 (taking place on October 16, 17, 18) approved the Political Report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX; agreed with the assessment of the results of the Front's work for the term 2019 - 2024 and lessons learned. The Congress also discussed and unanimously approved the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front...

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City Dao Trong Duc informed some basic and core features of the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.

The Congress elected 397 members to join the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term. Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Chairman of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Congress set out the directions, goals and 6 Action Programs for the coming term, in which the focus is: Strengthening propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, implementing democracy, participating in Party and State building; promoting the role of mastery and self-management of the people, building a united, prosperous and happy residential area.

With the spirit of “Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development”, the Congress sends a message and appeal to our compatriots nationwide and overseas to strongly promote the strength of great national unity; uphold the will of self-reliance, self-strengthening, creativity, and overcome difficulties; take the goal of “Rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization” as a common point; jointly care for the fate of the country, and enter a new era - the era of national development.

Dr. Nguyen Van Pha, former Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee, presented and shared at the conference.
