Training on periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025

DNO - On the morning of October 22, the Department of Rural Development (Department of Agriculture and Environment) trained on the periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 according to the multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2022 - 2025.

The training was attended by more than 190 delegates who are leaders of communes, wards and officials and specialists directly carrying out the periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 in Da Nang city.

The conference informed about documents on implementing the review of poor and near-poor households; content on multidimensional poverty standards and methods and procedures for periodically reviewing poor and near-poor households in 2025; guidance on professional skills and use of software to review poor and near-poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2022 - 2025.

After the training, Da Nang will simultaneously review poor and near-poor households periodically in 2025. Thereby, providing accurate statistics on the current situation and results of multidimensional poverty reduction in the city, especially in mountainous communes and particularly difficult areas.

From there, the City People's Committee proposed a plan to allocate support resources, livelihood improvement projects and set specific poverty reduction targets and numbers for each locality and unit.
