Focus on editing and publishing the complete set of Party documents

On the morning of July 17, in Hanoi, the National Political Publishing House Truth held a conference to review professional work and Party work in the first 6 months of the year, and directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

Reporting on the activities of the first 6 months of 2025, Deputy Director - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth Pham Thi Thinh, emphasized that the publishing house has achieved many important achievements, including editing 253 manuscripts, publishing 164 paper books with 2,673,010 printed copies; 70 e-books. In particular, the publishing house has coordinated with the Central Party Office to organize the editing and publishing of draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Many important books of high theoretical and practical value have been published at the right time, serving well the work of propaganda and political and ideological education such as: 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; 135th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Birthday; 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day...

Notable books include “Implementing revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period”; “Steadfast steps on the path of innovation” (volumes 3 and 4); “Family, friends and country - Memoirs”; “The great victory of spring 1975 - The heroic victory of the Ho Chi Minh era”; “100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation”; “Uncle Ho's articles on culture and press in Nhan Dan Newspaper”…

The publishing house has compiled and published more than 60 local history books from provincial to communal levels to preserve traditional values before the administrative merger; launched the President Ho Chi Minh e-Bookshelf on the Stbook.vn platform with 135 books, applying modern technology platforms... The publishing house has officially operated the official paper and e-book distribution channel STstore.vn; deployed synchronously with the electronic publishing system sachquocgia.vn, gradually forming a digital ecosystem.

Scientific research and implementation of topics and projects continued to receive attention and were effectively implemented with 8 scientific seminars and workshops organized in coordination with departments, ministries, and branches...

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee and leaders of the National Political Publishing House - Truth identified 10 key tasks that need to be focused on. These include completing the 2025 editing and publishing plan and implementing the editing and publishing of the complete set of Party documents (80 volumes), books under the Project to equip the grassroots, books to celebrate major events of the country at the end of 2025, building content orientations for book topics published in 2026; promoting scientific research, implementing topics and projects; coordinating the organization of scientific conferences and seminars; improving the quality of the Journal of Politics and Development.

Information, propaganda, and promotion of publications and the publisher's image will be promoted on digital platforms; comprehensive digital transformation will be carried out in publishing, distribution, and management; and new forms of publishing will be developed such as audiobooks, interactive books, and multimedia.

The publishing house also promotes international cooperation in the field of publishing; implements the direction of the Secretariat on the 5-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 44-CT/TU, dated April 16, 2020 of the Secretariat on "Innovation, improvement of quality and efficiency of publishing, distribution and research of theoretical and political books"...

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, requested the staff, civil servants and employees of the publishing house to constantly innovate, create and promote the glorious 80-year tradition to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, worthy of being the leading theoretical and political publishing agency of the Party and State in the new period.
