Visit and encourage police officers injured while on duty to put out a fire on a fishing boat in Quang Ngai

On August 25, representatives of Quang Ngai Provincial Police visited the Provincial General Hospital to visit and encourage police officers injured while performing firefighting, rescue, and fishing boat rescue duties.

At around 0:00 on August 23, fishing boat QNg-91... of Mr. Tran Quoc Khai, anchored at Sa Ky fishing port, Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai province, suddenly caught fire.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department took charge, dispatching two specialized fire trucks and one fire boat along with 21 officers and soldiers to fight the fire. At around 2:00 a.m. on August 24, the fire was completely extinguished.

Fire Police Department and Rescue Department participated in extinguishing the fishing boat fire.

During the fire fighting process, under the high temperature of the fire, Corporal Vo Minh Cuong suffered burns on both legs. Despite being injured, soldier Vo Minh Cuong still tried to continue with the unit to participate in extinguishing the fire until the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.

Representatives of Quang Ngai Provincial Police visited and encouraged soldier Cuong.

After listening to the doctors and nurses discuss the current treatment and health situation of soldier Vo Minh Cuong at Quang Ngai General Hospital, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department, Colonel Le Xuan Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, kindly visited and encouraged the soldier to feel secure in his treatment and quickly recover his health.
