Dong Ngac village was established at the end of the Tran Dynasty, around 1346 to 1370. Before being renamed "Dong Ngac" in the Later Le Dynasty, this peaceful village was originally called Ke Ve. Therefore, people often circulated the saying "Ke Gian land, Ke Ve mandarin

The origin of this saying is because Ve village had many mandarins. From the Tran dynasty to the Nguyen dynasty, in about 500 years, Dong Ngac village produced 22 doctors, second-year doctors, and vice-doctorates, and over 400 bachelors and bachelors. According to the feudal court's regulations, any village with 10 or more people passing the doctoral exam was considered a mandarin village.

Dong Ngac village is one of the few villages that is honored to be known as the village of doctors. Throughout history, Dong Ngac village has had many highly educated and talented people.

Currently in the village there are many gates shaped like pens and inkstones, demonstrating the studiousness and respect for teachers of the people here.
